Community Grant Program

Green Underline

Park Pride's Community Grant Program is a two-year program funded by the Robert W. Woodruff Foundation to provide support for Community Park Improvement Projects. The purpose of the program is to assist communities with matching grants of $20,000 to $100,000 for the implementation of park improvement projects.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants
  • Community-based organization
  • History of successful project completion
  • 501(c)(3) Nonprofit or fiscal partner with 501(c)(3)
  • Demonstrated community support
  • Ability to provide 20% - 50% matching funds
  • Must not have received direct funding from Robert W. Woodruff Foundation

  • Project is located within City of Atlanta
  • Project is on public land with public access
  • Project approved by property owner
  • Capital project
  • Can be completed within 18 months
  • Project is sustainable

  • Key Dates:
  • September 28th - Letters of Intent Due
  • October 8th - Finalists are notified, Final Applications are distributed
  • October 26th - Final applications are due
  • November 15th - Grants are awarded
