Lang-Carson Park Community Garden
Sharing knowledge and crops with the neighborhood
The Lang-Carson Park Community Garden is a continuation of the R-Town Community Garden, which was formerly located on a vacant lot in Reynoldstown. The R-Town garden has hosted workshops for neighbors on topics including organic gardening, composting, and bee-keeping. When the former location was sold, the garden relocated to Lang-Carson Park. The proximity of the garden to the Lang-Carson Community Center helps the garden to fulfill its mission of engaging all community members. As part of their neighborhood outreach, the gardeners donate a portion of their harvest to the Reynoldstown Civic Improvement League and Resources for Residents and Communities.
