Cabbagetown Community Garden

Adding beauty and strengthening community in a walkable neighborhood

Cabbagetown Community Garden

Nestled between two houses on Berean  Street, the Cabbagetown Community Garden provides a space for gardeners to meet their neighbors while growing healthy organic produce. The garden adds to a strong sense of community in Cabbagetown, and nearly all of the gardeners live within walking  distance of the garden. The youngest gardeners ride in a wagon to get to their plot – the Cabbagetown campus of the Grant Park Cooperative Preschool maintains a plot to offer their students a hands-on learning opportunity in sustainable farming and healthy eating.
