Here are some stats from Park Pride’s program work in Atlanta communities in 2008:

4 new Community Gardens adopted in City of Atlanta parks.

96 Park Adoptions –a cumulative total through 2008.

Beautifying parks through increased maintenance standards, the Park of the Month program rewards parks crews 6 times per year—April through September, plus recognizes an outstanding crew with the Park of the Year award.

4 Park Visioning conceptual master plans completed--for East Side Greenways, South Bend, Washington Park and West Manor. From 2005-2008, $549,500 of public & private funds were invested in the parks Park Pride has led through the community Park Visioning process.

99 Volunteer projects held in 38 different parks, with 4,049 individual volunteers and a combined 13,357 volunteer hours.
