Connect with nature through birding and storytelling with Jason Ward, host of “Birds of North America” and member of the National Audubon Society team.

We will begin our experience with a short history of Cascade Springs Nature Preserve, located on ancestral lands of the Muscogee/Creek people, followed by a bird walk through the beautiful forest. We’ll complete the morning by connecting to nature through the art of storytelling.

This walk is appropriate for beginner birders and storytellers of all ages. Binoculars will be provided for those who don’t have a pair – reach out to Adriana Garcia (adriana@parkpride.org) to confirm availability.

Snacks and hot chocolate will be provided. Please bring water in a refillable water bottle and any additional snacks you’d like for the walk.

Rain or shine, come and connect to nature.

This is a Nature for All Coalition supported event,
funded by the Turner Foundation.
