Park Pride held our 12th Annual Parks and Greenspace Conference at the Atlanta Botanical Garden on March 25, 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Theme & Subject Matter

Activating Parks for Healthy Communities

We scheduled a host of excellent speakers who shared case study examples of park and greenspace solutions that specifically addressed our mission and the conference theme, "Activating Parks for Healthy Communities". This conference offered a unique educational experience through presentations and tours that explored how parks are essential to a community's physical, mental, emotional and economic health. Following were the five key focus areas.
